Introduction

Silver State Shooting Sports Association is a shooting club with emphasis in education and support of our junior shooter program.

We are a 501c3 non-profit shooting sports club which supports the Silver State Junior Shooting Club. Many of our members are Instructors / Coaches and/or Range Safety Officers.

Mission Statement

The objective of this organization shall be the encouragement of organized rifle, pistol and shotgun marksmanship with a view toward, education, good knowledge and furthermore safe handling and proper care of firearms, and to create a public sentiment for the encouragement of organized rifle, pistol and shotgun practice both as a sport and as a necessary means of defense. It shall be our further objective and purpose to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team-play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.

It shall also be our objective to:
Establish youth development programs throughout the state and provide supervision, guidance and encouragement for the purpose of developing knowledge of safe handling and proper care of firearms.

The Silver State Shooting School admits students of any race, color, national origin and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities general accorded available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin and ethnic origin in the administration of its education policies, administration policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school-administered programs..
